Panchito's Mexican Grill

I recently visited this Panchito’s restaurant as a vegetarian, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and flavor of the all-veg options! The veggie enchiladas and mushroom tacos were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Their guacamole was creamy and well-seasoned, and the homemade salsa had just the right amount of kick. I also appreciated that the staff was attentive and willing to customize dishes to suit my dietary preferences. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time was a bit longer than expected, and I wish they had a couple more unique vegetarian dishes beyond the usual classics. Still, everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. Definitely a great spot for vegetarians who love bold Mexican flavors. I’ll be back!

The food is tasty, and their prices are very fair. Their lunch specials are the same price as a fast food combo meal. I highly recommend giving them a try.

This place is tucked away in a hotel’s back side. Don’t be fooled by its low key and dull exterior. We were seated 2 minutes of reaching there. Once seated they provided their famous house chips and 3 salsa. Their salsas are one of the best salsas I have tried around here. Our food came within 22 minutes of ordering. They forgot to properly make one of the dish and our server was quick to apologize (very rare to get this nowadays) and fixed it. Food was really good tasting. One of the best Mexican food I had around this area. Food is also fairly priced. Ambiance is also tolerable. Overall 4.3/5 stars.

Don't be turned off by the outside, it's cheery on the inside! Came in on a Mon afternoon and was immediately seated. Friendly service, tho took a solid minute to get drinks. The nachos and salsas came right away. My fave part tbh! The spicy one had a nice bite to it. I was sad to see most tables didn't indulge in the chips and salsas. So good! I ordered the carne asada and chitterlings tacos. The Carne asada was tough. Chitterlings taco was crunchy and good. I added the salsas to the tacos. Yummy. Beans and rice were delish. Also ate the roasted green onion and jalapeño. Yummy! My mojito was strong. Really enjoyed the decor, didn't feel rushed at all eating. It was nice to take ones time. Servers came around to check on you a few times to see how the food was. Left full and happy. Would def go back.

We had to wait a few minutes for our party of 7 because there was a 90 person group being seated.(Xmas party). Despite this they got us seated and fed with incredible service. Chips and salsa for the table came standard with three different salsas. The food was fantastic! Tacos came with a big roasted jalapeño and green onion as garnish. Guacamole was great. Everything was delicious and casually top notch!

Authentic Mexican food! They have 3 different salsas with the basket of chips, tasty mild, very tasty and somewhat spicy, and an avocado based salsa. The tacos were tasty, as is the chorizo. The fajita salad was best I’ve had in SC, and my wife loved her margaritas which is not a mix! We will definitely try this place again, and provide an update if needed.

I had a fantastic experience with Panchito’s Mexican Grill recently! I was craving some mixed fajitas and decided to give them a call. The person on the phone was incredibly friendly and took the time to ensure they got every detail of my order just right, even offering to swap the usual rice and beans for something else if I preferred. The service was impressively quick; my fajitas were ready in just 10 minutes! When I arrived to pick them up, the fajitas were not only ready but also very tasty and perfectly cooked, with all the flavors melding beautifully. Although I didn’t dine in, I noticed the restaurant was clean and had a cozy, welcoming vibe. If you’re looking for delicious food paired with quick and attentive service, I highly recommend Panchito’s Mexican Grill. They really go above and beyond to satisfy their customers!

Very very good! Their homemade chorizo was incredible. Cucumber jalapeño margaritas were on point. Took a party of 8 there and the food was fantastic. It’s a little difficult to find. The building is kinda run down and there’s like a trucking company that operates in the parking lot. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars.
